DGNIMPORT

I'm using DGNIMPORT to bring some Microstation elements into my C3D file.  I've used it before but this time the Microstation elements are blown up way out of scale and not inserted in the right place.  Any ideas what I should check for this problem?

Probably drawing units.  Are you going from meters to feet or inches to feet and so on and so on.  I would open a new drawing with dgnimport and check the units there and then check the units of your CIvil3D drawing and adjust accordingly when merging drawings.

Well, I checked that and even changed things around a bit and tried survey feet and changed the scale but everything I import in comes in at exactly 12 times the correct scale.

Nope, I misunderstood you the first time.  I checked units, insertion scale was not set to feet.  Should have read your answer more carefully, thanks.
