Create grade from a corridor.

Hi.

I want to create a grade (without object grade) using a corridor.

This is my assembly:

This only contains  the subassembly "DaylightBench" in the side right.

I have the alignment and profile. I have created the corridor.

red line= alignment

green line= feature line (code Intersecction) converted to polyline.

pink surface= surface (code TOP).

I have added a boundary for surface of type "add from polygon" and I have selected the closed polyline(green line).

However, the boundary seems doesn´t work.

Does the corridor extents as a boundary option work?

Saludos!

Your options are:

1. Add 3d boundary directly to surface as outer boundary.

2. Add coortidor extents as boundary:

NB: In order to use the corridor extents boundary you will need at least two baselines in the corridor. These do not actually have to have any data within, so you can add annother baseline then rebuild and it should work correctly.

3. Manually select boundary using featureline

4. You can use surface build Max triangle length but by the looks of it your internal surface will dissapear.

Solved.

With only one subassembly, it´s not possible create a boundary as right way. The "corridor extents boundary" or "add polygon" don´t work.

Finally, I have added a new subassembly (lane) in my assembly.

st.jpg

subassembly lane in left side, with only width= 1 cm.

slope= 0%

I have created the surface corridor and boundary using two feature lines (intersection and "borde carril").

Then I have created the other surface using grade (create fill) using the feature line "borde carril".

Finally, I have created a new surface and I have pasted the others surfaces.

???

This sounded knid of strange, so I tested an Assembly with just one DaylightBasin2 subaasembly attached to it. The corridor extents boundary option clipped the exterraneous TIN lines. See Below:
