So this isn't the normal won't run issue with 2011 (Which I'm running).
I double click fromt he toolbox and I get an error saying "No link available in select alignment." Then the normal dialouge box opens.
But when I choose my corridor it says there are no links to add. I have tried playing around with different code styles and but nothing seems to work. The corridor is there in all its glory but the routine can't find the links.
(Tried the routine in another job and it worked fine)
Thanks

Hi CRThorn,
When you execute report such as Slope Stake Report, do you get to see teh dialog where you can select alignmnet, sample line, corridor link, etc. If you do, can you try different links and different alignments.
How about if you try tutorial drawing C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011\Help\Civil Tutorials\Drawings\Section-Project-Objects.dwg file and run report there. Do you see the same issue? This will tell us if the issue is with your drawing rather than with installation.
See if you can check your corridor to see it all looks OK. Then check or redo your section lines. I hope some of this may let us know where the issue is comming from.
Thanks for looking into this.
I get the error about the Links and when I click OK it still open the box that would let me select the different alignments fna corridors. But none of the 3 corridors in this drawing have any links, I also have the same issue with another drawing for the same project. (They safe the same Data shortcut for the ground model)
I tried the Tutorial file and that works just fine. So i assume it's something to do with drawing file. Could it be something to do with the Code set style? I tried using a style from the UKIE file but that didn't work either.
I have checked the corridor, turned it off and rebuilt it. I even tried starting a new one with all comenents from skratch but still didn't work.

Can you go into Corridor Properties and change your assembly by some other assembly or better by basic assembly (should be there in Assemblies palette)? Will that give you any links to work with? If so, than you may need to review your assemblies.
I tried changing the assembly to a standrad one from the tool pallete but there is still no change. I tried creating a new alignment/profile/corridor all from scratch in the drawing but even that didn't work.
Thanks,
Chris
Seems i may have found the problem. I recreated the sample lines and it now works ok. I have a feeling that the old sample lines were too far apart and wern't picking up the links!!
Not really sure but it's now working.
Thanks for looking into this for me.
Turns out the true culprit is the number of smaple line groups. For some reason you can only have 1 group any more then that and it causest he error about.
i assume this is something to to with the way the report code it written. Will need to think of the work around to allow me to have more then 1 group.
