Corridor Daylight-multiple conditions

Hi,

Please refer to the attached image.

I have a corridor and assembly that I would like to behave in two distinct manners as described below:

Under condition 1, I need to create a link left to a maximum of 40' from the baseline at a slope of 1:80.

Under condition 2, If the link daylights at the existing surface prior to that offset, this is the point at which I want the link to terminate.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Jim MacPherson

I can't think of a built-in subassembly that will accomplish this. It could
certainly be written if you know some VBA.

If not, I would use this workflow. Use the generic link LinkWidthAndSlope
set at 1:80 and 40' width. This will get you the link at the correct slope
all the way out to 40'. Then edit your corridor sections and use the arrow
to drag the link BACK to intersect your OG for those stations that require
it. Depending on which scenario would happen more often, I might be
inclined to use the LinkSlopeToSurface set to 1:80 and then edit and drag
the link OUT to 40' for those that require it.

Hi!
under condition 1 what wouuld you like to do with edge of the daylight link,if it cannot meet the ground before 40';
isnt it be connected to the ground?

if yes , how would you like to connect it?
with what slope?

Sorry, I didn't make that clear. I don't want the link to connect to the ground, if it doesn't meet the surface before the 40' offset. We're interfacing with the land-side design and the proposed elevation is assumed to exist at that location.

Regards,
Jim
