Corridor Datum/Formation Surface question

When using an assembly with vertical edges, what happens when a Corridor datum surface is extracted i.e. vertical edges are not permitted in triangulated surface??

Hi,

that should not be done with modifying the intervals of your (normal) contours. For creating contours with specific (user-defined) elevations you should look into DGM-properties and "Analyse" for "User-Specified Contours"

See >>>help<<<

I'm not sure what Alfred's getting at but if you did nothing, yes you'd have a problem. The syrface would triangulate to the next point outwards with the "Datum" code.

For all datum surfaces it's best to toggle the "Bottom links" option in the Overhang correction column of the corridor surfaces dialog.

I do that as a matter of course, but in the screenshot that would mean a vertical face at the edges??
