Corridor Boundary fails with Super

When I apply superelevation to my corridor the boundary is not honored.

I found a similar post back in 2007 so it's been around for a while. That post didn't seem to have the solution.

Attached is a screen cap of the problem.

The corridor consists of a centerline with profile and edge of lane alignments (no profiles) for targets. The assembly consists of a left and right laneoutsidesuperwithwidening subassembly, nothing more. The surface is from the top link and the boundary is automatic using the ETW.

I know the problem is related to superelevation because when I remove it the behavior stops.

P.S. Is there a way to disable superelevation without removing the settings?

Trying to recreate the problem here, but my drawing works fine.  Can you post your file?

What happens if you replace the subs with LaneSuperelevationAOR?

I have a stripped down version of my file but it's still over 2 MB. I'll need to use a public file sharing service to make it available. Any suggestions?

Meanwhile I'll experiment with other subassemblies to see if it makes a difference.

I like Dropbox for this sort of thing.  It's also useful for sharing files between your own devices (phone, home computer, office etc.)

I'm unable to use Drop Box in our network environment.

Our systems are locked down so I can't install any apps. It has to be a totally web based service.

Any other suggestions?

After switching out the subassemblies to LanesuperelevationAOR, it appears the problem has gone away. Even when I go back to the original LaneOutsideSuperWithWidening subassemblies the boundaries work, so there was something C3D didn't like in that first configuration.

I've learned one good rule for troubleshooting: try switching out subassemblies

I'll consider this resolved.

I'd still like to know if I can temporarily disable superelevation.

I think with Google Drive you have the option to upload with an app or just from the web with no app.

Does Google Drive allow sharing via a link in the forum? I'd like to find a solution that doesn't require installing apps, email addresses, permissions or user accounts.

Never tried it, but I thought I'd seen someone else do it.

Let's try it. Here's a tutorial drawing I uploaded to my google drive.

I did have to change the permissions on it so anyone with the link could access it.

That worked for me Brian.

There seem to be quite a few services out there. Some apparently don't require accounts, permissions etc. such as SendUit (it reported a technical problem when I tried it). Do you think Google Drive is easy to use?

That looks simple enough.

I'm waiting to see if SendUit comes back online as it doesn't appear to require any account or file management at all. Meanwhile Google Drive should do the job.
