Copying Expressions

Is there a way to copy expressions between drawings? Is it like copying styles with drag and drop?

If an expression does not drag and drop, you can create a text object in the style you want to drag it with, set the display to off and set the text value to the expression name.

I had to do this for profile labels because I had an expression referenced within an expression and the first expression dragged across with the label style, but the referenced expression did not.

I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same issue in 2016.

I imported updated styles with expressions into and older drawing, and the expressions don't come with the update.

I used the C3D Manage/Import and also the import button with the Sincpac add-on.

Never mind. Audited the destination drawing and issue was resolved.
