Coordinate Shift

What would cause my points northing and easting to be different in the survey database to the imported drawing point.

for example I have a point that has a northing and easting of:

N = 291237.7825

E = 1144905.5914

in the survey database

&

N = 291237.2000

E = 1144903.3016

in the drawing.

One possibility is the Survey Database default settings are "international Feet" so if the dwt is set to Survey Feet then the coordinates won't match.

A Survey settings file can be created for all users to map to which will contain all desired Survey Database settings.

No problem, glad to help, hopefully it wasn't the Baymont Inn link that helped. Smiley Surprised
