Converting ASCII to JOB file for TDS

I have used the conversion process located within C3D12 to covert TDS RAW files to FBK files.  However I don't see a listing in the alternatives to convert an ASCII file into a JOB file to transfer back into the the TDS data collector.  What am I missing?

Thankss for the help,

TLH

Copy the ASCII to the DC and create the new job on the DC and Import the ASCII file.

It will create the JOB file.

Thanks for the help.  I placed the ASCII file in the DC and created a new project.  I then selected "use or import a control file".  However, the Recon only looks for a JOB file for use and I see no other options or way to have it look for an ASCII file.

Please see this video for a short tutorial on importing points into a TDS data collector. Note that I'm importing from my desktop, but the process is still essentially the same.

Jason,

Thanks for the help and the video.  So simple it was almost scary.

Thanks again,

TLH
