Click and drag pipes in profile is not working

Using Civil 3D 2014....I can drag manholes in profile view and everything updates correctly. However, when I try to drag a pipe by the handles the pipe will not move...nothing happens. The only way I can move the pipe invert is through the editor. Any ideas?

Seem to be able to grip edit pipes and structures here using Civil 3D 2014 SP 1.

Enter SETNETWORKCATALOG @ command line, are the catalogs blank?

If so map them to the proper Pipe Catalog location and try again.

If that doesn't help can you share the drawing here? (assuming your not using a custom catalog).

If the pipe network catalog is set correctly you can also try swapping the part for another part (or even the same part) to see if that works.
