Civils 3D template

Im new to Civils 3d, is it poosible to use my customized AutoCAD template as the template in Civils 3d.

You can, but does your AutoCAD template have all the object styles and label styles in it?  I doubt it does.  Without styles, you are going to have a hard time.  I recommend using the Civil 3D template out of the box to get started with.

I agree, use the delivered C3D template as a starting point and pull in what you need from your AutoCAD template.

Remember to set your C3D zone information and if working in feet, you'll need to select US Survey or International feet setting.

From a previous post I assume you are in the UK so ensure you are starting with the UKIE specific version of C3D
