I have browsed one file in meters from Pytaghoras to dwg. When I opened it with Civil 3D the drawing units become feet. Where is the problem and how can I convert the whole drawing to meters?
When you install the program you have the option of creating an icon for Civil 3D 201X Metric. Look for this program icon on your PC and use that to open your file. If this file is not on your PC run the setup from the control panel Program and Features and add the feature or have IT do it if so staffed.
Depending on the source of the drawing. The drawing setup in Civil 3D will depend on how the drawing is opened. If this is the first time the drawing is being brought in to Civil 3D. You should start a new drawing from a metric template. Then insert the drawing in to that fresh drawing.
The dimensions of the drawing shouldn't change. Only the way Civil reports it. So if you open a metric drawing with units set to feet. A 10m line will be reported as a 10' line.
Thank you for the quick answer!
The file in meters was opened first with Civil 3D.Then I made some changes to the file with Pythagoras again in meters. After that I saved the update file in Pithagoras to dwg. But when I opened it with Civil 3D the drawing units were on feet.
Could you tell me how to convert the drawing units in the whole drawing, not only to some objects, please?
