Civil 3d 2015 Geolocation map to surface as an Orthophoto?

Hi, just starting to use Civil 2015. Like it so far. One of the new features i like, is the geolocation function.

I am wondering if there is a way to drape it to my surface, so i can use it as an texture on my surface?

Are you talking about Drape Image? Probably not. I'm not using 2015 yet.

Yeah, use it like a orthophoto, So when i import it to 3ds max or ifraworks. I got it on my terrain. But prob have to buy it to get it.

I suspect this functionality doesn't exist and you'd have to buy the data and I wouldn't suggest you take a screenshot and use Raster design to create a world file and then use this or anything else slightly dubious
