In general, I find it faster.
Some things are just so marvelous and sooo much more mature- like feature
lines (I could kiss the grading team) and the Map datasource/theming stuff
is just A GIFT FROM HEAVEN.
And I have a WAY WAY underspec laptop I am working on.
But there are somethings that are irking me...
Like having to recreate my '06 surface definitions
And having to do a hard core scrub uninstall of 2006 or else I wind up with
pipes at zero invert and no corridor modeling tools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
weird.

Some are saying yes, some no. I've found it to be faster in some
areas, about the same in others. Still going to take a while to
calculate complex corridors, for example.

Indeed there is. You can select during the installation to create an
AutoCAD 2007 profile.
