Hi Martin,
You can't move the subassembly to a catalog, but you could put it on your
tool palette by making a block out of it, saving it to your hard drive, and
then making an Insert tool on the tool palette. If you set the block to
explode automatically when inserted, the net result will be that the
subassembly is inserted into your drawing. You then have to manually attach
the subassembly to your assembly, unlike when you use one of the stock
subassemblies.
