Can you trim a potion of a VC

Does anyone have any ideas how you can either trim a vertical curve within a profile, this is for a ETW as it approaches an intersection. Or is there a way we can at least fake it within the profile, where it appears it is trimmed? I want the profile to end at the curb return point.

One way to do it is with a wipeout. Then just manage the display order and
lastly turn OFF the Wipeoff Frame.
