Can't repair or save dwg

After overwriting my DWG with an Autosave after a crash, I now get Audit
errors that can't be fixed, nor can I save the drawing. Is this a lost
cause?

I missed a step. I should have tried recover first. I got it back.

You can use DWG Repair Toolbox to repair and save your drawing file. In the meantime you'll have to figure out what is causing your program to crash.

Moreover, utilize next method:

Try using RECOVER, or INSERT it into a blank drawing. Is there an autosave SV$ file available? search your system for *.sv$; you may be lucky and find one.
