I seem to be missing the content in my C3D Tutorial folder, I have searched my hard drive but no luck there. I have also looked at Autodesk's publication so see if I could downlaod the content. I am running Windows 7. Is there a place where I can find the content and downlaod them?
FYI these are files that are suppose to be included with the student version of Civil 3D. I want to go through the tutorial but the content file (example - Creating a Surface. The tutorails asks the user to "Select yhr appropriate point file format and then browse to the point file." When I go to the folder it is empty. There is suppose to be a file called " EG-Surface-PENZED (space delimited).txt).
Thank you for your help and Have a Nce Evening!

There is suppose to be a file called " EGG-Surface-PENDED (space delimited)Txt).
Hopefully this is just because of a typo on their part. The file is supposed to be "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012\Help\Civil Tutorials\EGG-Surface-PENZD (space delimited)Txt"
If you don't find it there. Try searching your computer. The file should have been uncompressed somewhere as part of the installation process. If that fails you could try a Repair of the installation.
I tried what you stated and was unable to find that or any files that the 2012 AutoCad Civil 3D Tuturial is suppose to provide with the initial download. I loooked around in the "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012\Help\Civil TutoriaIs" however inside the folder there are other folders but they are all empty.
I even I tried what you said to repair the installation and no luck.
Is there a place a go to download those dataset Files?
One other thing to try. See if there is a folder similar to this on your computer:
That's where the installation would have been uncompressed. If the files came out of the original download. They should be in there.
I don't know of anywhere to download these files separately.
Perhaps another student here on the forums would be willing to share?
