i have installed and clean re-installed on win 7 64bit and all my 2010 does is open to the initial splash screen, asks me if i wan't to associate dwgs with this program and then closes completely. it shows a little compatibility icon on top of my C3D desktop icon. i have run the various compatibility options on it with no luck. any ideas?
Are you running as a user with administrative privlidges? Autodesk Support has told me that Civil 3D users should always have administrative privlidges on their machine (although that doesn't prevent all problems, as there are still some conflicts between Autocad and UAC hidden in the program).
