C3D 09 & SID FILES

My Sid files are taking forever to load in C3D 09. Is this a know issue with C3D 09 or is it a user specific issue? I have the raster design enablers installed, I have disabled my antivirus. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Vista 64 ultimate service pack 1

4.0 gb ram
intel g45/g43 express chipset

Same problem, and I can get them to print correctly... It will look good in print preview, but pixilated on the actual print.

Do you have Raster Design or the Raster Design
Object Enabler installed? I think this helps but I cannot comment on the Vista
64 part.

We have the raster object enablers. We are have this problem with all the computers in the office (xp or vista) in C3D'09. I just recently got a new computer thinking that the additional horse power would help, it did not. I can run Sid files fine in C3D'08.

I am planning to get 09 up and running soon but I
have a ton of sids in my files. I sent a request to my reseller. If he has
anything to offer I will pass it down the line.

Thanks John, I've seen several posts on this issue, none with a resolution to the problem. Are there actually people out there who this is working for?

I had the same problem. It seemed to be a problem with the combination of Vista and C3D 2009, since they loaded fine on my XP machine with C3D. I finally solved my problem by uninstalling Vault 2009. Don't ask me why this works, but it did for me. Good luck!

Thanks Kurt, that was it I unistalled vault and it worked. I'm not to sure that C3D does not speed up when vault is unistalled.

It drove me crazy for a long time. Glad I could help.
