Bug with surface slope labels

Good Day All.

This is a odd one. I am adding surface slope labels to my surface and when I
select the label and wish to move it the label highlights. However when I go
to move it, it is not the label that moves but the entire surface that the
label is assocated with. They label itself stays will not move. Someone want
to verify this for me.

Actually, I've found that if you move the label, it moves fine. If you copy
the label, however, it copies the entire surface...

How are you moving it? If you choose Move, then pick the label, you're
actually picking the surface. The only way to move the label is using the
grips.

Thanks James. I was using the move command and as you said the surface
moved. Grip moving resolves this. Something different every day.

My bad - try the spot elevation label - you CAN move it, but copy it and
you'll copy the surface...

I'm having the same problem, except I have no grips on the label to drag, I only have grips on the object which edits the surface, any ideas?

Label grips have lots of problems. Make sure you have OSNAPS turned off. If they still don't appear when you click a label, try doing a REGEN.

I've already tried all of that and I also tried exiting acad and coming back, sometimes that works with other things. Still no luck. Let me know if something else comes to mind. Thanks.
