Bearings display as question marks on line between points label

I am having a problem with bearings displaying as question marks when I use one of my general line label styles to create a line label between points. If I use the same label style for an actual line, the bearing displays fine (see the screenshot below). I have attached an example drawing with the issue, if anyone has a chance to look at it. Thanks much!

It looks like you've found a defect in the Label Between Points command. The defect is that it does not like expressions with the segment direction in them. For those labels, use a style which utilizes the built in Segment Direction, then reverse the label direction if needed after placing it.

That took care of it, thanks!

Jeff,

Is there an understanding of why this happens?  Does the "Label Line between two points" not respond to expressions or is the result of "direction" type not compatible with the label?
