Sorry to hear the re-activation process is not going as it should be and I completely understand your frustration.
I've activated your product manually and will send you an activation code via private message here on the forums in just a minute (click on the envelope close to your screenname at the top of this screen).
Cathy, I'm not sure how you attempted to activate but I've never had this problem. If it doesn't activate online I call 1-800-551-1490 which is the activation line. I speak to a human and it takes a few seconds. Keep that number handy if you don't have it.
