Don't know of any tutorials per say but the help has a "Getting Started" section and there are some related AutoDesk University classes on SSA such as Class ID: CI4352-L

I discovered today there's a chapter in "Mastering AutoCad Civil 3d 2012" book that covers SSA with Civil 3d.
