Assembly Issue

I am running C3D 2012. Please see attachment. Is there a way to make the 150mm Granular "A" (cyan hatching) extend under the curb and then have a link and link to marked point to connect as per the attached drawing? Also, is there a subdrain subassembly that can be added as per the attached drawing?

You could model this section fairly easily as a custom subassembly using Subassembly Studio...  The free Basic Edition would likely suffice if your logic is straightforward.  From your drawing i don't see where the marked point would be necessary with a custom subassembly, but it is of course supported if you wish to use this feature.

To construct it, you would first need to decide whether to construct the entire section as one subassembly, or split it into two at the crown.  From there, model the pavement layers, the curb, sidewalk, etc.  The cyan sublayer could then be built in a series of segments (one for each place the bottom of this layer changes slope) using the StructuralSublayer component, which will allow you to build a sublayer/shape bounded on top by multiple links.  Once that is done, you would simply need to construct the GranularB layer and Geotextile links...

The following link is to a short video which demonstrates a simple use case for the Structural Layer and Sublayer components in Subassembly Studio:
