Ant way to have/create "free" frame views ?

That is .... I'd like to have a view frame not linked to any aligment, simply a view frame colletion.

The goal is to can create a VF for a cartography purposes or something similar. In example a 10x10 distribution schema.

A trick can be to use a "ghost "aligment , used only to served as environment to create the VF.

The main problem is the annoying link to aligment.

I suposse it is imposible to avoid this , isn`t it ?

What do you think? Thanks.

Yep - you're stuck with an alignment.  Back in the "good old days" we used to run a no-plot alignment through all of our section views in the design drawing, so that we could create section sheet layouts in another file.

That sounds like a job for Map Books.
