I have created profiles and alignments that follow the vertical profile of the surface, Is there anyway to change the alignments to horizontal only?

An Alignment is horizontal by definition, until the Profile gives it vertical definition.

I'm looking to move the kilometer posts back to the horizontal version, the alignment sheets are not matching my new profile because they are in horizontal and I'm in vertical.. I'm really confused how to do this

I'm not understanding. Your Kilometer Posts are set at Kilometer Stations in the Alignment. If you need to see where the Kilometer Posts are in the Profile, how about using Station Tracker?
