Alignment free curve issues

Hi,
Is there a way to connect two sperate lines with a tangent curve wihout moving the two ends of the lines where the curve is connecting ?
I cant find a way to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Tony,

There isn't because there is no guarantee that the 2 lines are oriented in such a way that there is a curve solution that is tangent at both ends.

You could float a curve off the first line and specify a pass-through point at the start of the second, but the second point may not be tangent.

Better to use a Free curve that is "free" to slide at either end to ensure tangency.

Regards,

Mike

You can always do it old school. Offset both tangets the radial distance. Draw a circle from the intersection of the two offset tangents to the endpoint of one, either PC or pt doesn't matter. Trim cirle on both tangents. Now you have a tangent curve.
