Alignment Points

i need to create points (x,y,z) from alignment stations with its elevations derived from the finished grade profile.

is this possible without generating a finished grade surface, using only the aligment and its finished grade profile?

thanks!

It is possible in LDT. I haven't found a way to do it in C3D yet.

Something to consider...

with an alignment and a finished grade profile you could create an assembly
with a single node. A subassembly like LinkWidthAndSlope that is given a
width of 0 would accomplish this. Then you build a corridor. Lastly you
Corridor > Export > Corridor point as Cogo Points.

thanks angel, i never thought of it that way...What I actually do is to input every elevation based on the fg profile...It is a lot easier now.
