Adding 'CAL to Quick Access

Is there a way to add 'CAL to the Transparent Command Toolbar or the Quick Access Toolbar?

Yes, it's no different than adding any other command to a toolbar or QAT. The only difference here is that you'll have to create a new CUI command for 'Cal. Do you need help with that in general?

Hi RK,

"...create a new CUI command for 'Cal."

Yup. I looked in the list of commands and didn't see anything that looked like 'CAL. How do you make a new command?

  • Run the CUI command.

  • In the bottom left pane, click the Star icon that has a little gold "sun" next to it.

  • Wait about 10 seconds for the CUI dialog to catch up, then in the Properties pane on the right side, you will see the properties for your new command.
  • Give it a name (like 'CAL)
  • In the Macro field, erase the "^C^C" part and enter 'CAL
  • Make sure that you only have those 4 characters in that field (the apostrophe and the CAL)
  • Everything else in there is optional..
  • Now back in the Command List pane, you should see your new command called 'CAL.
  • Now look in the pane above this and find the Quick Access Toolbars section. Expand this and expand the next section under that until you see the list of commands that are currently in the QAT.
  • Now drag+drop your new 'CAL command into this list (from the bottom pane up into the top one).
  • That's it. Press OK and wait for the menus to regenerate. Test it out.
