A Link with a Material and Thickness?

Hi,

I am wondering how you kind folks are handling topsoil in your corridors?  Ideally it would be great if you could apply a material and thickness to general links, and not just the daylight sub-assemblies.

Is there a type of sub-assembly like daylight that contains materails and thickness AND can target a feature or polyline or something other than a surface?  For instance... the area between the back of curb and a sidewalk that would show topsoil being placed and have that taken into account in your Earthwork calculations.

Thanks in advance.

Nada huh?  That's a first.  Maybe I can just use a lane and change the shape coses so the hatch looks differnt in my cross-sections.

We may be slow, but we generally come up with some sort of answer eventually.  GenericPavementStructure allows you to specify the shape code and thickness, and it has both horizontal and vertical target options.
