2012 style defaults not recognized

I guess I've over looked this for a while but I'm tweaking out dwt file and I am noticing that the default lable and pipe style I have set in the network defaults is not being honored. Am I setting this in the wrong place or is this a know isssue?

Think you need to click the child overide column to force the styles down the chain if command.

I typically go right to the commands and change the defaults there.

Perhaps my 3 weeks away from a computer mixed with my lack of coffee yet this morning has me thinking incorrectly, but.... Aren't the pipe & structure styles controlled by the Parts List? As for the StructureLabelStyle, I see the arrow in the Child Override column. Clear this to insure the desired style is used, or do as John said and make the changes to the Command settings.

I'm confused. When I go the the command setting it show the defaults are the same do you check the overide box? why do I have to over ride the default to get the the default?

When I click the child over ride colmn I only see a red X on the part list or the plan lable style nothing happens in any of the other rows. What exactly am I looking for here?
Thank you

Perhaps they are, but if I new that, I probably wouldn't need to ask 🙂
As for the child over ride - didn't even know I had one.

Ah ha! I se my part list said one thing and the feature settings another. I guess the tale wagged the dog on this one.

You are absolutely correct with the pipes and stc styles Jeff. They come from the parts list.
