2012 -> 2014 change is surface display?

ok all heres the problem we had created a slope style in 2012 15% - 25% and 25% - 100%. done this many times with no problems. so we upgrade and open the file in 2014 now there is a large white area that c3d is filling in. what setting am i missing?!?!

there is not a range set for this i only have two. anyone have any ideas?

the attached image shows what it should look like (left) and what i have now (right)

Make sure you install the Service Pack.  It fixes the issue.

My luck was a bunch of new computers right around the time we wanted to install.  We had to put 2013 and 2014 on a bunch of machines until the SP.

Someone claimed it was "expected" behavior and the way it was designed.  Don't know if that is true, but it wasn't what I expected.
