2010 to 2012

What does it take to get my point styles, description keys, etc. to move over?  Just drag and drop from 2010 template?  Save 2010 template as 2012 template?

Just open any 2010 file and it will work in 2012.

 

If you want to still use it in 2010, do not save with 2012. Files are forward compatible, not backward.

You can also import the Styles in to a 2012 drawing.
