2010 civil3d & architectural desktop 2006 compatibility

hey guys. Names Eric. at work, i use 2010 civil3d for my drafting purposes and my boss uses 2006 architectural desktop. We are having compatibility issues between drawings he does and drawingsi do when they are opened on each others computer. Example: if he does a floor plan on his computer and then i open it on mine, i have to explode all the walls and windows before doing any editing and if he opens a file from my version into his, he has leaders and text come up missing and if he add'sthe text and leaders and then i open it back up, the leaders & text  i had originally put in there shows up right along with his entries. Is ther a converter or enabler that will let these two different versions and releases work in harmony?

Eric,

Make sure you have the "Object Enabler"s installed from Autodesk's website.

Also check "proxygraphics" and set it to "1" if it isn't already turned on. You each will be able to see, but not edit, the "intellegent" entities from the other solfware. 😞

Not sure if there are current OE's for ADT; the latest ACA OE *might* work on Civil3D 2010 for reading the architectural files.  The real problem will be the other way around - I'm fairly certain that any object enablers which support Civil3D 2010 objects won't work with ADT 2006.
