I am hoping there is a quick fix.
I have a vb.net subassembly 2012 very similar to the out of the box, conditional subassembly.
This conditional subassembly is connected, let’s say to the edge of pavement.
I now need it to work in 2015 and it doesn't. no error, nothing it just doesn’t create the corridor past the attachment point. i.e eop
any suggestions here?
So I may need to recompile!
I have IDSU 2015 installed (win8.1) and it seems that all reference files and now stored in c:\program Files\Autodesk 2015
A little different from before where they were in a civil 3D folder.
Anyway I have all the reference files AcdbMgd,acmgd and AecBaseMgd but cannot find the reference file AeccDbMgd
Any suggestion???
Thanks guys
At least I can compile.
However, I guess there never is a quick fix
I am not getting the correct results, any suggestions for a debug workflow.
I need to see some of the values that I am testing for, so that I can trace where the error is occurring.
I change the change location of the dll to the location Civil 3D expects to find it. Then when I run the code I can set debug points and see the values.
A quick internet search should show you how to set the debug in Visual Studio Express, there is one on Kean's blog.
thanks for the tip
I have seen the posting on Kean's blog, great value.
but are you saying you can debug an assembly code in the same way?
