Custom sub-assembly codes

Hello All,

I need some advice on custom sub-assembly codes,

I have gone through the list of codes that is given in the code list.

1. How do I add new code, should I jsut add with the new index at the end

2. What all thinigs I need to update so correct featureline is picked, etc

3. Any examples or help or tutorial on that.

4. Any c# example of building a sub-assembly using .net.

Thanks.

Hi

The Subassemblies codes are read-only, meaning the related methods on the API are only for GET

When creating a new Subassembly, you will probably need the source code to change it, or use the Subassembly composer to add it.

Thanks Mate,

When you say sub-assembly composer to add.

Example,

I created an assembly such as continuous mortor. and I want to create codes such as inner_mortor_edge and outer_mortor_edge.

I add these codes to node in Aubs-assembly composer.

Then do I need to add these entries in the code list file?

Do I need to create a new featureline to associate with the newly created code?

Could you help with this please.

Thanks for your time.
