Custom functions in label expressions

Hi,

To take civil 3D to the next level, is it possible to define a function in VBA and then use it in the label styles expressions?

One of the first things I asked about five years ago and I was told no and have not seem any developments in that area.

You may want to look into dynamic linking like the sincpac guys use and Chris from Civil3dreminders did for his crossing pipe labels. Heres a link to Kean Walmsley blog series about how to set them up

You will have to look at moving from VBA to VB.net. I wrote a bit about it here http://c3dxtreme.blogspot.co.nz/2011/02/visual-basic-vb-for-civil3d.html

but the Autodesk site now has some good webcasts and papers on making your first plug in.

Thank you for your suggestions! It is really a pity that this can't be done...
