Can you get the block component in a pipe label?

Hi

I was wanting to know it it is possible to get a block component out of a pipe label with the API to project onto a profileview.

The reason a want this is that to label lot connections in the form of a wye connection I typical use a pipe label with a stick block at 45 degress to represent the connection then explode it and use project to profile view command so the lot connection applies there as well. Just wanting to do it faster thru using code if it can be done.

Hi Justin,

You might have to explode the label and get the desired component, which is not a clean way. Apart from this, I don't see any API exposed at the moment. I will log a API wish list for the same.

Thanks,

Partha

Thanks for he reply, that is what I was looking into doing as well but have not had the time.

I just posted another query last night on setting the userdefined data of a parcel from the API. Do you have any code examples of how this is done? The help is not helping me.
