Background Mask Lisp

Does anyone happen to have, or know where I can get started with a lisp routine that will apply or remove from a selection of text objects (or MLeaders), a background mask set to standard 1.5 coverage; fill color set to background???

Thank you, in advance!

This will do most of what you need and works on mtext and mleaders.  It will not set the widht of the offset.

Thank you very much, it's just helpful,

Do you have one for dimensions?

Bruno, I am still using the same snippet of lisp from the original post!  I never desired to account for dimensions but I can see that being a nice feature.., maybe someone can help with a modification.  If so, please post it here if you don't mind.

Best,
Sam

@bfalconr2 @sam.cutbirth , this lisp by Lee Mac may be of interest to you. Dimensions aren't quite as simple to set the mask, but Lee found a way to do it using a DimensionStyleOverride.

Thank you @stacy.dunn !  Great LISP!

Is there a variable that can control offset factor? or is there default I have to preset in my settings?
