AutoCAD license expiration date via API?

Hello Listeners,

does somebody know:

Can I query the AutoCAD license expiration date via API (ARX or .NET) from within my Application? Or is there a registry entry to check? Id like to countercheck our own expiry date in our  license borrowing mechanism with the AutoCAD expiration date.

Thanks for any hint,

Hubert

Hi Hibert,

If you are talking about the trial period, I don't believe this is possible using APIs. Can you explain what you plan? Maybe we can find a alternative...

Hello Augusto,

no, it's about expiration date of a (borrowed) AutoCAD license, as shown in the "Product License Information" dialogue:
[cid:image001.png@01CFA7E9.56486F80]

We are implementing a license borrowing mechanism (from a pool of network based lics one shall be checked out and kept on the local system) for our application running on AutoCAD (+ MAP 3D + Civil 3D)-platforms.
The expiration date of AutoCAD would just be nice to know for us (programmatically) so we could offer our customers the same date as a preset value or maybe upper limit for the borrowing period of our app's license, since it wouldn't make much sense borrowing our app's license any longer than that of the underlying CAD platform.

Sincerely,
Hubert
