I have 2009 Architecture 64 bit installed and want to view pre 2009 contour objects. I went to the enablers site and noticed the only enabler for civil 2009 is a 32 bit and am unable to install the enabler. Am I installing the wrong enabler? Seems there should be a way for these to be imported. The contours were created in 2002 LDD. Do I need to have the contours converted to plines?

There are no extra OEs from any other location: in 2009, -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD does a decent job of converting most AEC objects to their basic entities. But be aware it will do the same to all of your ACA2009 objects in the file too: so separate the Civil content first.
AFAIK there is no ACA2009 64bit version: you just can't install 32bit OEs in Windows 64bit.

Thank you for the work around. I'll give it a shot. BTW ACA2009 has a 64 bit disk. I made the assumption Civil3d would also..why not??

Civil3D didn't have a 64bit release until 2011.
