I have a wall with a water table component to which I've attached a sweep. When I insert a door or window assembly that cuts through this component, I end up with a gap between the frame and water table. How do you eliminate this offset/gap between the water table (which has a sweep attached to it) and frames? The gap is the same distance as the chamfer of the water table. If the wall sweep is removed, the gap between the water table and door frame is eliminated. Is there a way to correct this and keep the sweep? I've attached a sample drawing (ACA 2010) showing this condition.
Thanks for any help,
Jim
