Hi,
As I said, the Monochrome effect only applies to Faces, not edges. Your
drawing is 2D -> you're applying a 3D visual style with edges only, so
there's no way to achieve what you want to do. You can override edge colors
in the visual style, but you can't make them monochrome as you can with
faces.

Thanks again Alex but it still is not happening.
The drawings I want to produce are just internal elevations of rooms in the
model, made with the internal elevation tool: just 2d simple elevations. I
got to the monochrome setting you showed me, but that is in the material
side of things, it does not seem to work for my linework, my plot preview
still comes up coloured & very pixilated.
I have four 1:50 elev layouts & 1 location layout on my A4 sheets & am I
trying with one to produce a sketch layout.
I just want to produce a sketch type of A4 sheet.
I have tried to do it with the napkin setting, but that blows out the file
size.
It is not that important but, as we are at the preliminary design stage with
the client, it is good to give them sketchy types of drawings.
Because when they get precise prints they think that the room is set in
concrete & they panic a little, they think the builder will get these
drawings & build the thing.
I want to produce a sketch for their & their staff's comment.
