How do I know that a space object contains arc segments

Via the property "Baseprofile" of a Space Object , I can get the vertices of the appropriate Space Object.

But  I also wanted to know if the Space object contains arc segments.

How can you determine that the segment between 2 coordinates is a straight line or an arc ?
