    Double Swing Doors

    Greetings,

Having just recently switched employers I'm trying to get some "old" styles back . One of those was a door showing a double swing. I've never had the need to customize but am in a situation now where I will need to start doing so. It seems as though showing a door with a double swing would be an easy task but I'm not even sure how to start.

Are there any simple tutorials or any suggestions were to begin?

    Thanks

I would suggest using a custom display block to add the dashed representation of the door swing.

A very easy cheat way to do this is simply add another door over the top. Quick and dirty if it's just a one off.  Just make sure it doesn;t get scheduled.

If you mean "double swing" to be say opening 90 degrees forward and back, you can nominate a predefined one in design rules - communicating door.

Change opening % if you want to open more than 90 degrees.

The communicating style is the closest to what I need, now the next problem is for a double door.

Double dhung will work, although you'll probably have to compromise hidden lines.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I can live without the hidden lines.
