AutoDesk Why did the property set definition...

Why did the property set definition
"Door" become "DoorObjects"
"Room" become "RoomObjects"
Etc.

This is playing havoc with my schedules and I am trying to find out if
AutoDesk has an actual reason for this change. I keep getting duplicates
listings for each door due to my schedules being created in Desktop 2 and
using the original "Door"(etc) and the new Desktop3 tags and routines using
the new "DoorObjects"(etc) sets.

Are we going to have to redefine our schedules (along with everything else)
every time that we have a new release?

Surely there is a better reason than "oh we just thought that it would be a
good idea".

Gary,

We had to change the names because we introduced the concept of property
sets that work on objects as well as property sets that work on styles. The
naming scheme now reflects that.
