    Array command

    Please, answer my questions!

The Array command does not work in the same way like in previous versions and I find it difficult.

Also the snap mode does not work propel y when no command is in process and no object is activated.

The second question I already asked some months ago and still haven't got an answer.

Are you using ACA 2012?  If so, have you installed Service Pack 1?  Service Pack 1 added a command called ARRAYCLASSIC, which runs the "old" version of the ARRAY command, for those who prefer that.

When you say that snap mode does not work, are you talking about having the cursor only move to SNAP points, even when no command is active?  If so, Service Pack 1 added a system variable called SNAPGRIDLEGACY.  Set it to 1 to restore the previous behavior of always snapping to SNAP grid points.

A listing of the other issues addressed by Service Pack 1 can be found in this blog article, or in the ReadMe that can be downloaded from the same page on the Autodesk site as the service pack.

ArrayClassic fixes the issue. BUT.... why dump the command anyway? Autodesk seems to change things just for the sake of change. Plenty of examples of "improvements" which lose the abilities of prior commands, including locations of support files, commands, door insertion points, etc.

Now i have to amend the command alias to reference the old command. This as i am being prompted to renew my subscription, which will likely ellicit a "new and improved" version for 2013.
