use of this newsgroup

I wonderd, when reading all the stuff in this newsgroup, if somebody from
Autodesk is reading this all and, if so, does autodesk really use the ideas
shown here?

Hi,
It certainly true that we read this newsgroup and the others regularly.
You are not only reaching ADT product support but the people who write the
code and design the product. Actually, I would say there is more time spent
by ADT developers monitoring these newsgroups than our product support
people.

I think ADT2 users would agree that many of the features implemented in
ADT3 were mentioned in this newsgroup.

Refreshing the ADT newsgroup daily, hourly, sometimes every few minutes,
at work, and at home, is something many of us have become accustomed to. We
may not always reply but we are always reading and often discussing you all
here in the office.

Please continue to post!
Thanks,
Chad
ADT Software Development

ps. Last time I posted a message like this I got flamed so I've borrowed

Oh, man...

Don't drag me into this... I've been trying to be good. Really I have.

The butt's getting threadbare on my asbestos underwear - I gotta be
careful...

You should go back in time (a little bit) & read the wishes from the users
during ADT1 & ADT2. Many of those wishes got answered in ADT3.

Keep wishing....and don't be surprized to see some of them show up in ADT4!

Do you think that perhaps, maybe the next release will have a Text Editor?

Have you tried substituting Word or WordPad for the text editor under Tools
> Options > Files tab > Text Editor ?

I did.  But it is no better than the Mtext
editor, in fact, it's worse cause then the program has to load up.  Takes
time.

What I meant was a
color=#ff0000>REAL
color=#000000> and NATIVE

color=#000000>Autocad text editor that works with Mtext.  This is a very
old request.

In the Express tools, there is an "Edit any text" command that works really well.

Yeah, I use it for all of my text.

But you still can't have columns, indents, Hanging
indent, Bullets, Etc.
