Currently using Architecture 2013.
Thursday, I opened a file that I had originally made in Architecture 2010.
This is a file that I use as a template to quickly grab:
Yesterday, I could see everything just fine.
I saved it into Architecture 2013.
Today, I open the same file and I see only SOME layers, which I did NOT see Thursday.
The plan is now only showing:
The modelspace shows
The modelspace is missing
I checked layer properties manager and all the layers are in use and are present.
I simply cannot view them. Therefore, I cannot use them.
I checked the Display Manager, Configurations, Medium Detail
The settings are as follows:
Display above range – 13’-0”
Cut height – 3’6”
Display below range – 0”
When I go to change the “DISPLAY BELOW RANGE” number to 10’-0”,
I can do so. BUT, when I hit “apply” it changes the value back to 0.
So, I am unable to actually change the Display Below Range setting.

I work in a crappy government office, where no-one knows jack ****,
can someone please help me (out in the real world), so I can do my job?
I’d really appreciate your help. Signed, a screwed government contractor.
Thank you for your post. In this case the file itself sounds as though it could be affected by miscommunication (typically third party introduction and found when upgrading files), and/or corruption within the file. To correct this I would advise first running a RECOVER via the command prompt, then following the steps outlined in the link below. This will then create a working file for use in 2013.

If this does not work we may need to see a copy of the file for testing. Thank you and I hope this helps.
the file is a cclassified government document. the file may not be transmitted via the internet.
I did all the things listed in your Purge/Audit already.
Thank you for your reply. In this case without a file it would make it troublesome to diagnose further and try to help in a solution. It does seem as though the file itself is now corrupt or problematic and would need all steps performed to verify and remove remnants of this problem (IE: RECOVER + all steps 1-11 in the link).
